Hello! Its been a while! PART 3/4
As the owner of JJ’s Convenience Store, I don’t usually post things like this, but today I feel I need to.
Firstly, I want to say that the vast majority of students from our local high school St Julians are polite, respectful and a pleasure to serve. They are a credit to themselves, their families and their school.
Unfortunately, a small group are making life increasingly difficult for my staff and our business. Over the past few weeks we’ve experienced repeated shoplifting, vandalism, verbal abuse and, today, racial abuse towards members of my team, along with multiple thefts.
My staff come to work to serve the community and no one should have to experience this kind of behaviour while simply doing their job.
The police have been informed and, on their advice, I’ve contacted the school and provided CCTV images, videos and photographs of those responsible, along with evidence of the damage caused.
This post isn’t about blaming all students—far from it.
It’s simply a request for parents to have a conversation with their children about respect and the consequences of their actions. A small minority are letting everyone else down.
It may seem small to some but this is the 4th or 5th time the same group are causing a headache and abusing our staff.
I have attached pictures of the boys and on the followings posts will attach the videos!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support JJ’s. We really do appreciate it, and we hope that, together, we can put a stop to this behaviour and keep our shop a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
