Going through the reselling stock and suddenly realising… THAT little number doesn't need a new home, it needs a NIGHT OUT! 🤣👠🎶

Some outfits don't just hang on a rail… they come with a whole backstory! 😂

You know the type… all that little number needs is a few double vodkas, a couple of shots, some questionable heels and a handful of dodgy dance moves that'll have your knees filing a formal complaint by midnight! 🍸💃🤙

It's the nostalgia for me! 🤣 One look at certain styles and suddenly we're transported back to the days of questionable decisions, sore feet, questionable hairstyles and dancing like nobody's watching… when, in fact, EVERYONE was watching! 😂🎶
(but there is very little evidence!!😉)

The best bit? They're still waiting for their next adventure… because apparently, even clothes deserve a second chance at life and a potential reunion with the dance floor! ♻️💃

Be honest… what outfit from your younger days would have you shouting "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!" today? 🤣👇

Tag the friend who was ALWAYS the last one on the dance floor and never knew when to call it a night! 🍸😂

Someone questioned my ethos and values around reselling… apparently giving old things a second life is controversial now! 🤣🐮

✨ Anyway… time to tackle the stock mountain and get Vinted Pro looking alive again! 📦😂

There's always been more to the Farmstand than simply selling things. From homegrown produce and foraged finds to upcycled treasures and preloved clothing, the roots remain the same…

Respect the land, reduce waste and make the most of what we've already got 🌱💚

Growing up around farming teaches you to repair, reuse and repurpose rather than simply throw away.

And here's a little food for thought…

👕 According to WRAP, around 49% of used textiles in the UK end up in general waste, with much of that subsequently incinerated or sent to landfill.

As a holistic wellbeing practitioner, I believe caring for ourselves and our environment go hand in hand 🌿

Mindful consumption, creativity and reconnecting with nature all have their place.

Because something doesn't lose its value simply because someone else no longer needs it.

Different branches, same roots 🌳💚

And if that means photographing mountains of preloved stock whilst the animals supervise… so be it! 🤣🐑

The three little fluff balls we kept back are officially becoming a rather interesting little trio… and apparently nobody read the original casting notes 😂🐔🌿

Our beautiful Blue French Copper Marans pullet is looking absolutely gorgeous and thriving in the grow-out pen… while somebody else is starting to give us that unmistakable “erm, I think I am a little roo” energy 🤣🐓

A pure French Black Copper Maran, out of either Bill or Ben, and already making next season look rather exciting. This is where knowing your breeding lines really matters — keeping track of parentage, understanding who can be paired with whom, and planning ahead to maintain healthy, well-managed lines rather than simply putting birds together because they look pretty. 🥚🌿

And then there’s our little fighter. 🥹

The tiny one with the wonky leg who was affectionately nicknamed Flamingo has earned herself a promotion…

Meet KICKBOXER. 🤣🥷🥊

Pretty sure she’s a little pullet, and despite the odds she’s eating, drinking, growing and getting herself around on that one leg with an impressive amount of determination. She may do things a little differently, but there is certainly no shortage of fight in that tiny body. 💚

Three little birds kept back for three very different reasons, all growing into their own characters — and giving plenty to think about for next year.

But we’re not quite calling this season a day yet either… 😉🥚🐣
