It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Don Lear at his home on April 22nd 2022. Those who knew him are welcome at the memorial service and bright colours also encouraged. Our Story

Bhaji Man was created and developed by Don Lear, his passion for cooking led him to produce and develop culinary products which allows even the most inexperienced cook to serve great tasting authentic home-made curry dishes.

Being a great food lover, he spent many hours perfecting his love of Indian cooking, often using his neighbours to sample his many dishes until they were perfect. His exceptionally tasty Onion Bhaji was a big favourite with all his guests and it was not long before Don became known as the ‘Bhaji Man’.

As Don perfected his recipes, the idea of Bhaji Man spice kits and easy mixes were born. They contain especially blended spices with preparation instructions and a step by step guide to cooking beautiful authentic curries from scratch.

Bhaji Man Easy Mixes are Gluten Free, they have no artificial colours, added flavours, artificial preservatives or added salt and are suitable for Coeliacs. The Vegetable Pakora mix is also suitable for vegetarians.
