She’s taken our own hot smoked salmon and turned it into the most unbelievable pâté. Creamy, packed with flavour, and genuinely one of those things you have to try to understand.

This exceptional Hereford beef from Ripon has been expertly dry aged and the quality is absolutely outstanding.

We’ve got some incredible T-Bone steaks, Porterhouse steaks and Rib of Beef cut from this beast, all packed with rich flavour and beautiful marbling.

Packed with beautifully seasoned, marinated meat and layered with red onion, they’re an easy, flavour-packed dinner that’s guaranteed to impress.

This week we took delivery of our first FULL beef carcass from our friends in Ripon. This beautiful aged Hereford Cross was expertly broken down by Marcus and is now prepared and ready for the counter.

After finally catching our breath and getting the cold smoker fired up again, our proper wood smoked cheddar is back in stock!

This has become one of our customers’ absolute favourites, and for good reason. We cold smoke every block over real wood, giving it a deep, rich smoky flavour that’s a world away from the “smoked” supermarket versions that have never been kissed by actual smoke.

If you’re calling into the shop today around lunchtime and you’ve never tried it before, just ask. We’ll happily cut you a sample – once you’ve tasted it, you’ll understand why people keep coming back for it.

⚠️ Warning: This stuff makes the best cheese toasties you’ll ever eat. Crisps up beautifully, melts like a dream, and packs a proper smoky punch.

One of our customers, Kath, surprised me by dropping off this incredible homemade Creole Goat made using the goat from the shop.

I don’t think the photo even does it justice. It was an absolute flavour bomb.

The goat was unbelievably tender, just falling apart, cooked in a rich, perfectly spiced Creole sauce, served with the best rice and beans I’ve ever tasted. Every single mouthful was packed with flavour.

It’s such a privilege to see what people create with our produce, but for someone to take the time to cook a meal and bring me a portion to try… that’s incredibly kind.

Thank you so much, Kath. I genuinely appreciate the thoughtful food parcel, and it was absolutely delicious. ❤️🐐
