Nothing says June like a fresh summer salad!
A simple trick to keep your organic salad leaves fresher for longer:
1. Wash and dry them well
2. Pop them into a container lined with kitchen towel
3. Add another sheet on top before sealing
The towel absorbs extra moisture and helps leaves stay crisp for days longer!
Perfect for lettuce, chard leaves and mixed salad bags from this week’s harvest - enjoy!

Our home‑reared organic lamb is ready this coming week, perfect for summer roasts, slow‑cooked favourites, BBQ dishes or stocking up the freezer. Raised outdoors to the highest welfare and environmental standards, our prime lambs graze naturally on our family farm.

Why choose a Lamb Box?
- Best value way to enjoy home‑reared lamb right from our farm

- Freshly butchered and ready for the oven or freezer

📦 Box Options (£13.50/kg):
- Whole Lamb
- Half Lamb (£85–£105): Leg (2 joints), Shoulder (2 joints), Chops, Neck, Mince + optional offal (A half lamb fits neatly into a single freezer drawer!)
- Quarter Lamb (£45 - £60): One of each joint type + smaller portions of mince, neck & offal

Wondering if you can have our organic lamb delivered? It’s ideal to have in the freezer for family roasts, summer BBQs and nutritious dinners.
Regular box customers and non-customers can have our meat delivered to them, or collected from the farm. We usually have lamb available every 8-12 weeks and sell by the quarter, half and whole lamb. Our own beef is also available.

Looking for a fun and meaningful activity this half term? Get the kids involved in this Food Waste Challenge!
The mission is simple:
Use up what you already have at home, get creative with leftovers and throw away as little food as possible.
Here are a few ideas to get them started:
Turn leftover veggies into a colourful soup or stir-fry
Overripe fruit? Perfect for smoothies or baking
Create a ‘leftovers pizza’ with whatever’s in the fridge!
Make it fun by letting them plan a meal, help with prep and name their creation! Not only does it save money and reduce waste, but it also teaches valuable life skills and might just spark a love of cooking!

We grow what we can on the farm, but also work with some wonderful UK based suppliers to ensure your boxes are full of a variety of seasonal best!
One such provider is Gold Hill Organic Farm in Child Okeford. The lovely team there grows delicious greens and salad leaves, as well as peppers and beans - keep your eyes peeled for them and enjoy every bite!
