Why not grab your picnic from our 3 for 2 range and head on up to St Mawes Castle for an evening of aeriel displays ✈️🪐☀️🌅

On Wednesday 12th August Cornwall will experience its most significant solar eclipse since 1999!

With aerial displays over Falmouth Bay planned from The Royal Navy Parachute Display Team, The Flying Comrades and the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers this will be an evening to remember!

St Mawes Castle will be a great spot to enjoy the spectacle with a picnic! The castle grounds are open late until 8:30 PM with entry after 5 PM for a £1 donation per person.

Please note that as this is outside of normal opening hours English Heritage members will also be asked for the requested donation for entry after the castle’s regular closing time. These donations will go towards funding volunteer activities on site.
