Just sampled 20 drones from a swarm that i collected this morning and every one is too young to mate. And one had probloms with the reproductive parts they had not formed correctly.
The size of the swarm was a 2nd or 3rd cast so she will need to mate.

Suns out a bit of frame cleaning and reusing the propolis and beeswax to make hive protection dissolved in 100% alchol then mixed with pure turpentine and boiled linseed oil. This sun does help in the mixing.

2 different honeys from the same hive the one on the right was just getting capped when i put the box on for the left one that was fully capped 2 weeks later. Realy taste the difference in these two even though they where collecting from the same fields. Just shows the different taste the wild flowers produce.
