As part of our ongoing evolution as a business and as your local post office, you may have noticed we have recently branched out into an asian food range known as India House. While the port office is always our main point of focus to the community, we also are actively developing the shop to achieve more and bring a combination of everyday essentials and niche produts that are not easy to come by. So if you fancy trying a bit of authentic Indian food, whether that be snacks or essential cooking ingredients, your local post office may be able to help you with this too.

As many people know the last bank in Totnes has just closed. A large number of people are now coming into the post office for basic banking services and this is creating longer queues at present. We are in the process of getting additional staff trained to manage this and will shortly be able to offer a better service than we have in many years. But we ask only that customers treat our staff well during this transitional phase. Thanks for your continued custom

This last month has been a whirlwind of cards, parcels, presents and everything in between. As we come to the end of this spell we would like to take a moment to thank all our loyal and wonderful customers not only for your continued support by using us, but also for your understanding when things were really busy, for the jokes and laughs we've enjoyed and for the chance to serve our local community with such an important local hub. Lets make 2026 an amazing year.
