🤩🐠🤩 ANOTHER FIRST…BLACK-SADDLED CORY CW051! 🤩🐠🤩
We’ve been hoping to get these in for ages now. These Corys really are a bit special aren’t they? I can’t be more black & white about it 😂, these are some of the most strikingly beautiful Corys we have ever had in stock, and they now join a wide variety of Corys that also fit that description in our store. These are the aptly named Black-saddled Cory CW051 (Hoplisoma sp. ‘CW051’).
This smartly dressed species hails from Leticia in Colombia near the border with Brazil, and is sometimes known as ‘New Panda’ Cory, for obvious reasons. It is however very different from its namesake, the Panda Cory (Corydoras panda).
There is little written information online, but what we do know is that they can attain a length of 5cm, have a temperature range between 22-25c and a preferred PH of 5.5-7.0. Feeding and general husbandry is much the same as with any in its genus. Below is a link that will give you everything we know about them thus far:
