You loved it, so we are making it official. 🎉

Following the incredible success of Monday’s Bank Holiday Food and Drink Market and our big debut back in May, we are thrilled to share that we will continue to run our specialty markets on these bank holidays next year.

Calendar at the ready! Please save the dates for 2027:

But you won't have to wait until next year for more fun! We are already busy working behind the scenes on our event plans for the rest of this year. We have lots of exciting things lined up—especially around Christmas 🎄—and we will be sharing the news with you all very soon.

The First Taste of Autumn has Arrived! 🍂🍏

We have a limited, small crop, of traditional Worcester apples available in the farm shop right now.

If you've never tried a Worcester Pearmain, you are in for a treat. They are wonderfully crisp, juicy, and famous for their unique, sweet hint of strawberry. Because early varieties like these don't stay in supermarkets, getting them fresh from a farm shop like ours is the absolute best way to enjoy them.

: A trip down memory lane! 🍏✨

As it's apple season we thought we'd share this brilliant snapshot from what we think is the early 90s.

Down at the front, you’ll spot the lovely Aunt Joan—Harold's sister (Chris' dad). Standing just behind her are Bob and Ethel, who have been wonderful friends of the family for years. They are pictured here standing right by the old apple grader, which is piled high with a fresh harvest of delicious Cox apples.

Back then, every single piece of fruit was carefully graded, boxed up, and made ready for market—though you could still buy them fresh from the farm shop back then, too!

Farming changes over the years, and while we don't send our fruit off to market nowadays, our love for fresh, local produce never does.

Our freshly harvested Royal Gala apples are officially available in the farm shop right now!

Believe us when we say they are absolutely sensational this year. Thanks to the brilliant summer we've had, they are truly our best crop yet—incredibly crispy, bursting with juice, and sporting a gorgeous, shiny red skin.

We are thrilled to have Lee from Kent Wildlife Trust joining us today at Farmer’s Farm Shop! 💚

Lee is here for the day and would love to meet you for a friendly chat about our wonderful local wildlife, share tips on nature-friendly gardening, and answer any questions you might have about the beautiful nature reserves right on our doorstep. 🦔🌱

If you are curious about their local conservation projects or how their membership schemes work to support the countryside, Lee has plenty of information to share.

Mostly, he's just looking forward to connecting with our community and talking about all things nature! So while you're popping in to grab your fresh, locally sourced groceries, please do swing by his stand, say a quick hello, and enjoy a lovely chat about protecting our beautiful Kent environment. 🌾🥕

We were absolutely blown away by how many of you chose to spend your Bank Holiday Monday at Farmer's Farm Shop Food & Drink Market 😃

Thank you so much to all who joined us, what a brilliant day! It was lovely to see so many happy faces. 😊

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing stallholders of course, so a BIG thank you for all the effort you put into your stall setups. It clearly paid off as I know many of you were completely sold out by the end. Which is great news! 😁

Thank you to our entertainers! The Jazz Advocates and Sing Rosanna. You helped us to create such a brilliant atmosphere! 🎶

AND last, but no means least, a BIG shoutout to our extremely hardworking members of staff. You all did so well on such a busy day. You kept everything running smoothly and we are immensely proud of each and every one of you for your hard work - Thank you!

We can’t wait to organise more events. And we will, as always, keep you posted!
