🌿 AFTER ALMOST TWO YEARS CLOSED… WEYBRIDGE JUNCTION IS COMING BACK TO LIFE! 🌿
After almost two years with the doors closed, the former Weybridge Community Centre is finally welcoming the community back in — now as Weybridge Junction.
We’re opening gradually, bringing different parts of the centre to life as they’re ready and adding more services, activities and classes week by week.
🛒 THE COMMUNITY SHOP — NOW OPEN
Last week we opened our new Community Shop, run by Waste to Plate .
Waste to Plate rescues good-quality surplus food that might otherwise go to landfill and makes it available to the whole community at free or low cost. It’s not a food bank and there are no eligibility criteria. It’s an environmental initiative that also has the benefit of helping budgets go further.
You’ll find everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish to bakery, chilled and frozen goods and pantry staples — with stock changing every day depending on what’s been rescued.

✂️ THE HAIR STUDIO — OPENING THIS WEEK
This week our brand-new Hair Studio opens, run by Heather’s Hair.
Weybridge Junction is delighted to be supporting this new start-up business, which will offer a range of hair services five days a week from its new home at the centre.

👩🍳 OUR FIRST CLASS STARTS MONDAY
Cook Stars Molesey to Leatherhead launches our programme of regular classes this Monday, initially running two sessions each week:

☕ OUR AFFORDABLE CAFÉ OPENS THURSDAY
On Thursday we’ll open our new affordable community café.
We’re starting light-touch while we build the volunteer team who will help us develop it. Initially, we’ll be serving teas, coffees, soft drinks and cakes in a modern, calm and welcoming space.
Whether you want to meet a friend, grab a coffee or simply pop in and see what’s happening, the café is open to everyone.

👀 FANCY A PEEK? — OPEN DAY, SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER
If you’ve been wondering what’s been going on behind the doors, come and have a peek (or a good old nosy!) at our Open Day on Saturday 12th September. We’re still a work in progress and this isn’t our official launch — that will come later — but it’s a chance to have a look around, see what’s already up and running and get a feel for everything that’s on its way. Pop in, explore the space, ask us questions and see what we’ve been busy creating at Weybridge Junction. More details coming this week!

There’s still work happening behind the scenes and plenty more to come, but we didn’t want to keep the doors closed until every last detail was finished.
