Today you officially become a teenager, and honestly, I don’t know where those 13 years have gone! 🥹

Tyreece, watching you grow into the amazing young man you are makes me so incredibly proud. You’ve been through more than most kids your age, but you continue to be your own unique, funny, cheeky and wonderful self. 💙

I hope you always know just how loved you are, how special you are, and how proud I am to call you my son. Never let anyone make you feel like you have to change who you are to fit in. Be unapologetically YOU. ❤️

🐔❤️ A LITTLE HONESTY FROM OUR LITTLE FLOCK ❤️🐔

If you know us, you’ll know just how much we absolutely LOVE chickens. Every single one that comes through our gates becomes part of our little family, and rescuing them and giving them a safe, happy life is something that means the world to us. 🥹❤️

But sadly, sometimes loving them isn’t enough to make it possible.

At the moment, we’ve had to make the heartbreaking decision that we simply cannot take on any more chickens for the time being. 💔

The cost of everything has risen so much — food, straw, bedding, cleaning products and everything else that goes into keeping our animals happy, healthy and cared for. And the reality is, we don’t get any help towards it.

I do all of this myself, with the little bit of money we have, and I will always do everything I possibly can for the animals already in our care. But I also have to be responsible and know when enough is enough.

It absolutely breaks my heart when I see chickens needing homes and knowing that I can’t say “bring them to us.” 😔

Please know this isn’t because we don’t want to help. We want to help every single one. But taking on more when we’re already stretched wouldn’t be fair on them or the chickens we already have.

Our little flock deserves the very best we can give them, and for now, that means putting all our love, time and resources into the beautiful babies already here. 🐔❤️

Hopefully, one day things will become a little easier and we’ll be able to open our gates to more rescue chickens again.

Until then, please keep supporting our little flock in whatever way you can. Every box of eggs, every purchase, every share and every kind word genuinely helps us keep going. ❤️

We may not be able to save them all and I’m sorry for the ones we couldn’t give a home too but the ones we can save will always know what love feels like. 🐔🏡

Here’s your reminder that you don’t have to wake up today feeling motivated, organised or ready to conquer the world. 😂 Some Mondays are for smashing goals, some are for taking baby steps, and some are simply for getting through the day — and all of them count. ❤️

Don’t compare your chapter to somebody else’s. Take today at your own pace, breathe when you need to, rest when you need to and remember that doing your best doesn’t always look the same every day. 🫶

And while you’re here… the girls have been busy! 🐔🥚 We have plenty of fresh chicken eggs and quail eggs available, so if you need some, pop along and grab yours. 💕🐦

Whatever Monday throws at you, be kind to yourself. Small steps are still progress, and getting through the day is sometimes an achievement in itself. 🌷

🐔💕 PLEASE WELCOME OUR NEWEST FLUFFY BUTTS! 💕🐔

Today we rescued Doris, Dolly, Sharon & Wendy and we honestly couldn’t be happier to welcome these beautiful girls into our little flock! 🥹🐔💕

We rescued them from the same lovely lady we got our gorgeous Dilly & Diana from, so it feels extra special to be bringing more of her beautiful girls into our little family. 🥰

They’ve had a big day today, so we’re giving them plenty of time to settle, explore and get used to their new surroundings. We can’t wait to watch their personalities come out and, most importantly, see them all blend into the flock and become part of the Fluffy Butt family. 🐔🏡💕

Every rescue deserves a safe place to call home, plenty of love, good food, fresh air and the freedom to just be a chicken. And these four girls are going to get exactly that. ❤️
