Intercropping beans 🫘 with maize 🌽.

Intercropping is very essential in farming for its numerous benefits to you the farmer and the land/soil.

There are lots of ways to intercrop but intercropping beans with maize helps a lot. It's like using one stone to k!ll to birds. When you intercrop beans and maize;

1:the beans add more nitrogen to the soil thereby increasing the soil nutrients.

2:the beans also serve as cover crop which prevents leaching and erosion

3:the beans and the maize are harvested and sold for money.
