Gesco is building The Gambia’s leading digital marketplace, connecting local businesses to customers through secure technology and e-commerce innovation.

We are looking for a driven, street-smart, and results-oriented professional to lead marketplace growth and vendor onboarding.

📌 Position: Marketplace Growth & Vendor Acquisition Manager
📍 Location: The Gambia
🕒 Full-Time

🔎 Your Mission:

Grow Gesco Marketplace by onboarding quality vendors, increasing active sellers, and driving transaction growth across the platform.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Recruit and onboard vendors (markets, shops, SMEs, distributors)

Build strong relationships with local businesses

Drive sales and marketplace adoption

Support vendors in listing and managing products

Execute marketing and promotional campaigns

Track growth metrics (active sellers, transactions, revenue)

🎯 Ideal Candidate:

Experience in sales, retail, FMCG, or business development

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Comfortable working in the field and meeting business owners

Self-driven, ambitious, and performance-focused

Understanding of digital platforms is an advantage
