The Gambia College English Club has just completed a five day training on Phonetics and Phonology with Mr. Fakeba Kujabi, a seasoned English Lecturer from University of The Gambia.

Undoubtedly, the training will go a long way towards improving participants skills in the area and easing teaching Oral English to students.

We thank the college administration for giving the club the go-ahead to carry out its activities and their encouragement since at the beginning. We also thank The English Department and Mr. Edward Sakou for always being there for the club.

Special thanks goes to the PS of MoBSE, Mr. Louis Moses Mendy. Honestly, this training would not have been a reality without his support. We are happy and grateful 🙏

The Gambia College English Club has recently concluded training on literary devices.

It was a tremendous session having Mr IBRAAYMA JONN leading and guiding participants through the figurative elements and bravely sharing his knowledge and expertise in a very unique way.

We are very optimistic for having such an initiative which in one way or the other boost our potential into realities.

Today , the.Gambia College English had a training on the Basic Steps in Writing with Abdou Komma AKA Grammarian Comma/ The Perpetual Poet.

It was a significant training, where participants learned new things and the interaction was nice.

Today, the Gambia College English Club has organized a training for their general members on how to teach handwriting. It was very interesting and educative.

We thank Mr Jallow for the knowledge he imparted to us and the time he created for the training. This training will go a long way towards improving our skills in teaching handwriting.

Today, the Executive Members of the Gambia College English Club had a leadership training geared towards enhancing their leadership skills so as to carry out their functions effectively.

The Executive Members happily interacted with the Guest Trainer and learned from him. It was nice interesting and educative.

The Executive Members are committed. Surely, Gambia College English is going to achieve its goals.
