Voidokilia Beach: If asked to design the perfect beach, Voidokilia on the west coast of Messinia, is probably what you would come up with. It’s an omega (Ω) -shaped cove with white sand, warm turquoise water, lush vegetation, and a peaceful lagoon. Extra Tip🔍: The whole area, including Gialova Lagoon, is a protected zone of Natura 2000, so, do not look for any organized tourist activity on the beach. The closest mini shop to buy some refreshments is 1.5km away.😌

Sarakiniko's meringue-like rock formations and caves attract scores of budding photographers, even in winter. The sandy beach is tiny but there's a deep channel that's perfect for swimming, and room to spread out on the rocks. It's reached by a good sealed road, with parking at the end. Buses head here from Adamas in summer (four daily).
