What a great evening we had at our monthly craft meet up!

Jessica showed us how to make our own hand bound notebook, from scratch, using paper, fabric, glue, and a needle and thread. It was immersive, educational, and great fun!

We all went home with a personalised book to complete, and you will see just some of the results in the last few pics.

Thank you Jessica for showing us such a great skill.

We will definitely be making more of these!

Spring has finally come.

We are still waiting to get a new venue for our outdoor market once The Speaker closes. News on that shortly.

In the meantime, we are not sitting on our laurels, and return to for a Spring Market on Sunday 29th March.

Running from 11am to 4pm, you will see lots of familiar faces, and all the local crafts you love.

We will not let the weather stop our last ever market at The Speaker!

With the help of .ie we can hold the market indoors, in the covered area to the rear of the pub.

Same great crafts, just a tad tighter!

So, if you are happy to brave the weather, please come down and help us make our 5th anniversary, and last market here a brilliant one!!

Well folks, this is it, our last market at The Speaker Conolly before the builders move in.

This is where it all began, 5 years ago at this great spot. We had no idea what we were doing, but we knew it would be great.
And it was.

Roll onto 2025, and we have held over 30 markets here, our little group has grown, some people have moved on, and some small businesses have gotten bigger.

To say this will be a poignant market for us is an understatement. We are very sad that it is going 😢

But, we will do our best to make this a memorable market!

We will have the awesome belting out Christmas songs from 1 to 2pm, .ie will keep us happy with coffee and mulled wine, and all your favourite local crafters will be there!

Come down and help us to make our last market at the Speaker the best ever!!!

It won't be long now until our first Christmas Craft Fair at The Speaker Conolly!

We will be back on the 6th and 13th of December, with all the gorgeous crafts you have come to expect here 🎁

This year will be our 5th Christmas season at this location, so we are all really looking forward to celebrating that!

Sadly, it will also be our last set of markets, as demolition of this popular pub will start in the new year 😕

So, make sure to come down, help us mark both our 5th anniversary and our final Speaker season, and pick up some gorgeous, handmade gifts as well!

We are hoping to have live entertainment on the day, so watch this space!
