Happy National Carers Week from Rossnowlagh Farmers Market.

This week coincides with our second anniversary and the beginning of our third summer, making it a particularly special market for us.

Care takes many forms, and carers give so much of themselves and most of us in the service of others. Whether you care for a child, a parent, a partner, a friend or a neighbour, we see you.

Carers and those they care for are always welcome at the market, sharing in the simplicity of ordinary life, where we all experience struggle, joy, connection and community.

This week we have Family Care Ireland joining at the market providing information and a meeting point for anyone interested. We also have two free events that are inclusive of all carers and those they care for:

🌿 **10am- 1pm - Introduction to Basket Weaving**
🌿 **11am - Therapeutic Self-Care Session**

As we celebrate National Carers Week and two years of Rossnowlagh Farmers Market, we want to thank all those who care for others every day. We look forward to welcoming you this Friday from 10am to 1pm.

We can't wait to Welcome Family Care Ireland at next week's market.

We have some brilliant activities lined up for including therapeutic relaxing activities, music and a wicker basket weaving workshop.

We're absolutely delighted to have joining us tmro at the market.

Tom Delaney is the craftsman behind Ould Crafty. He is carrying on a tradition of basket making his grandfather David Delaney started a long time ago. He mostly makes traditional style baskets and focuses on making them as strong and as durable as possible.

Tom loves the craic, is good for the chats and will teach you a bit of basket weaving to hoot.
