Join us this Saturday from 10am to 3pm under the canopy at Thurles Market Quarter for a special Father's Day edition of Market 54 Thurles!
Looking for the perfect Father's Day gift or treat? Our market will be packed with local traders offering unique gifts, artisan crafts, delicious food, sweet treats and so much more.

💙 This week we'll also be shining a spotlight on Men's Mental Health and Community Wellbeing with information and support pop-ups from Jigsaw, Macra and Employability, helping to raise awareness, create connections and promote the supports available within our community.

🚴‍♂️ We're delighted to welcome Vision Ireland, who will be promoting the 30th Trip To Tipp Cycle. Special guest Billy Shanahan will be joining us on the day to help celebrate this fantastic milestone event.
🎶 Live music on the day from the Thurles Community Choir, bringing plenty of atmosphere and community spirit to Market 54.

Every Saturday, Market 54 Thurles transforms the Market Quarter into something truly special. It's not just a place to shop – it's a place where people connect, friendships are formed, local businesses thrive, and our community comes together.
From artisan food, fresh local produce, crafts, music and family fun, to workshops, biodiversity projects, card swaps, creative activities and wellness events, Market 54 has become a vibrant meeting place for people of all ages from Thurles, Tipperary and neighbouring counties.
Over the past few months we've welcomed talented artists, musicians, community groups, dog lovers, collectors, food producers, wellness specialists and makers from across the region. We've celebrated creativity through our Cruinniú na nÓg events, supported local biodiversity initiatives, hosted trading card swap events, welcomed vintage and retro enthusiasts, and created opportunities for children and families to learn, play and create together.

🌼🐝 What an incredible day at Market 54 Thurles! 🐝🌼
Today the amazing kids of Thurles came together to help build this beautiful community bug hotel as part of our “Keep Thurles Pollinated” biodiversity activities — and the results were absolutely fantastic! 💛
From stacking slate, wood, moss and bricks, to carefully filling every little insect nook and cranny, the creativity and enthusiasm on display was brilliant to see. The children learned all about the importance of pollinators, biodiversity and creating safe spaces for bees, ladybirds and other beneficial insects to thrive. 🌿🪵🐞
A huge well done to every child who got involved today — you should all be so proud of what you created together. This wonderful bug hotel is not just a piece of art, it’s a lasting home for nature and a reminder of what community spirit can achieve. 👏
Big thanks as well to all the parents, volunteers and everyone who stopped by the workshop and supported the day. Market 54 continues to grow into a place where community, creativity and sustainability come together every Saturday under the canopy at Thurles Market Quarter. 💚
