अभिनेत सुनील शेट्टी में हाल ही में मराठी भाषा को लेकर पूछे गए सवाल पर एक बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर कोई उनसे यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वे किसी दबाव में मराठी बोलें, तो वे इससे सहमत नहीं हैं। आगे उन्होंने कहा कि अगर कोई मुझसे कहे कि तुम्हें मराठी बोलनी ही पड़ेगी, तो मैं कहूंगा ऐसा जरूरी नहीं है। मैं मराठी तब बोलूंगा, जब मैं खुद चाहूंगा। मुझे मजबूर मत करो।
