Every year, I bring truckloads of grapes for my 40,000 KISSians. I also make sure to share them with our security staff, drivers, KIMS patients, and even the elderly in old age homes and children in orphanages.

I do it with joy—because when they eat with happiness, it fills my heart with peace. Their smiles are my strength, and this simple act gives me immense pleasure year after year.

On International Women’s Day, I bow to the strength, sacrifices, and resilience of women. Since childhood, I have learned to respect and value women, all because of my mother’s teachings. She always taught me that true progress begins when we uplift and empower women.

Her values have shaped me into who I am today and inspired me to dedicate my life to education and social service. At KIIT & KISS, where women form a significant part of our family, we continue to work towards their empowerment through education and opportunities.

Wishing everyone a day of respect, gratitude, and celebration of womanhood!

Happy to meet Prof. Hans Hengartner from ETH Switzerland once again, a great well-wisher of KIIT & KISS, especially the School of Biotechnology, along with his daughter, Ms. Daniela Bosshardt Hengartner.

His association with KIIT dates back to 2007 and 2015, and witnessing the incredible transformation of KIIT & KISS over the years, he was truly amazed and full of appreciation.
He also interacted with our students and was deeply impressed by their confidence and enthusiasm. His kind words and unwavering support mean a lot to us.

Today is a special day as KIIT -DU marks its 21st Foundation Day (2004-2025). I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all my lovable KIITians & alumni. This incredible journey has been made possible by the dedication of our staff, faculty, students, and well-wishers, who have played a crucial role in shaping KIIT into what it is today.

Starting in 1997 with just three programmes—Engineering, MBA & MCA, KIIT’s unwavering commitment to excellence led to its recognition as a Deemed to be University by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India on February 16, 2004. 2007 was our second base year, when KIIT expanded further by starting 10 schools together, including Medical, Dental, Nursing, Law, Management, and more. This expansion strengthened KIIT’s multidisciplinary approach and set the foundation for its future growth.

Today, KIIT is recognised globally for its academic and research excellence:

Honoured Dr. Sudarshan Panda with the Evergreen Honour today as we celebrated his 80th birthday. Wishing him a long life and good health!

Dr. Panda has been with us for 20 years after his retirement, leading the efforts to make KIIT & KISS green and blooming, with beautiful flowers flourishing across all 30 campuses. His dedication and passion have transformed the campuses into a lush and vibrant space.

A jovial and kind-hearted person, Dr. Panda’s contribution is truly invaluable. Grateful for his dedication and wishing him many more years of happiness and good health!
