Due to the irregular functioning of National Highway 44 , the transportation of the UT Kashmir is very less. The growers who have brought apples to Fruit And Vegetable Market Kulgam has created accumulation of Apples in F&V Market Kulgam which has affecter the rates. The rates have dropped to 500- 650 , 700. The growers are humbly requested by LONE FRUIT GROWER’S not to bring apples to F&V Market Kulgam.

Fruit And Vegetable Market Is Closed For Two Days i.e: Monday(15 September 2025) and Tuesday(16 September 2025). Do not pack apples if already packed keep them at home . So,Don’t bring apples to the F&V market kulgam.

Due to very bad conditions of the National Highway 44 there is not a single transportation vehicle for our apples in the Kashmir Valley resulting in the accumulation of apples inside fruit markets which directly impacts the rates of apples. So,the F&V market association of Kashmir Valley has decided to close the Fruit and vegetable markets for two days i.e; Monday(15 September 2025) and Tuesday(16 September 2025). Hoping that the National Highway 44 will be in good conditions for transport of vehicles. The Fruit and Vegetable market of district KULGAM is also closed for the above mentioned two days. The growers are hereby requested not to pack the apples for their benefits. The growers who have already packed their apples are requested to keep them at safer places at homes.
