Spicy Garlic Chilli Dipping Sauce

A bold, balanced dipping sauce with heat, sweetness, freshness, and umami — perfect with momos, spring rolls, dumplings, grilled chicken, fries, or even drizzled over noodles.

Ingredients
3 tbsp Mummy’s Magic Garlic Chilli Oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 tbsp water
Optional: 1 tsp finely chopped garlic for extra punch
Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice for added freshness

Method
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and water.
- Stir until the brown sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the Garlic Chilli Oil and mix well.
- Stir in the sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves.
- Taste and adjust:
- Add more brown sugar if you want it sweeter
- Add more vinegar or lemon juice if you want it tangier
- Add more Garlic Chilli Oil if you want more heat
- Let the sauce sit for 5–10 minutes before serving so the flavors blend together.

This sauce works especially well because the mint cools the heat slightly, the brown sugar softens the sharpness of the vinegar and soy, and the sesame seeds add a subtle nutty finish. Not to mention the heat and flavour of Mummy's Magic Garlic Chilli Crunch oil takes it to the next level!

We stirred a spoonful of our Chilli Sauce into a bubbling shakshuka — and honestly, we don't think we can go back to making it any other way. The heat weaves through the tomatoes, the eggs stay silky, and every bite feels like it was made with intention.

Crème Caramel with Coffee Bliss Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 500 ml milk
- 250 ml cream
- 4 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3–4 tbsp Mummy’s Magic Coffee Bliss

Method

1. Add 1 cup sugar and 2 tbsp water to a saucepan. Cook until it turns into a deep amber caramel. Pour into small bowls or a baking dish and swirl to coat the base.
2. In another saucepan, gently heat the milk, cream and vanilla until warm.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks and 1/3 cup sugar until smooth. Slowly pour in the warm milk mixture while whisking continuously.
4. Strain the custard mixture and pour it over the caramel-lined bowls.
5. Place the oven-proof bowls in a baking tray filled with hot water halfway up the sides. Bake at 160°C for 35–45 minutes until just set.
6. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. For the Coffee Bliss sauce, gently warm Mummy’s Magic Coffee Bliss with 2–3 tbsp milk or cream until smooth and pourable.
8. Unmould the crème caramel onto serving plates and drizzle generously with the warm Coffee Bliss sauce before serving. Enjoy!
