MAS (Motile Aeromonas Septicemia) is a bacterial disease in fish caused by Aeromonas hydrophila and related species. Use AquaNurch Fish Doctor to diagnose and identify fish disease.
Causative Agent – The disease is caused by gram-negative Aeromonas bacteria, which are commonly found in freshwater environments.

Transmission – The bacteria spread through contaminated water, infected fish, and stress factors like poor water quality, overcrowding, or injuries.

Diagnosis – Confirmed through bacterial culture, PCR, or histopathological examination of infected tissues.
