Gà Kho Gừng (Vietnamese Ginger Chicken) 🇻🇳

Gà Kho Gừng (Vietnamese Ginger Chicken) 🇻🇳
Ingredients:
* 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
* 5 shallots, chopped
* 60g ginger, julienned
* 6 garlic cloves, grated
* 2 red chilies, chopped
* 2 green chilies, chopped
* 3 spring onions, sliced
* 2½ tsp fish sauce
* 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
* 1 tsp salt
* ½ tsp black pepper
* ½ tsp turmeric powder
* 3 tbsp oil
* 200ml water
Method:
1. Season the chicken with chicken bouillon powder, salt, black pepper, and fish sauce.
2. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the grated garlic until fragrant.
4. Add the shallots and cook until lightly golden.
5. Add the julienned ginger.
6. Add the turmeric powder for a beautiful golden color.
7. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for a few minutes.
8. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
9. Add the water, cover again, and cook for 15–20 minutes.
10. Add the chopped red and green chilies.
11. Finish with spring onions.
12. Serve with fluffy jasmine rice and enjoy!
