Our Story Begins in 1933. A Japanese tea legacy, reborn through organic matcha & green tea.

Many people drink tea for its health benefits. Yet in Japan, only a small percentage of tea is organic. For decades, the industry believed: “Delicious tea cannot be grown without chemicals.”
But we discovered farmers who proved the opposite— producers who work with nature, not against it, crafting tea with deep umami and zero chemicals. That discovery became the seed of NAGOMI.
Our family’s history with tea dates back to 1933, when our great-grandfather founded a tea company in Japan. It grew into a major business before the lineage eventually ended… until we revived it in 2025 with a new mission:
Organic Japanese Green Tea for the World.
Today, we are proud to share authentic organic tea from Japan with the world.
