Mites.
Mitescan be a disturbing nuisance in your farm, especially poultry. In your chicken house, it is important to note that mites thrive in houses that are not kept clean, are not disinfected regularly, and those that are kept in damp(wet) conditions.
Mites hide in piultry feathers, cracks, wood joints, under feeders, and in nest boxes and in the wood shavings They can seem invisible during the day.
If not eradicated, mites can seriously harm your chickens by causing anemia, stress, stimulating self implicated injuries, and also lowering the growth or production rates.

Disinfect the coop using natural methods like kitchen ash, sprinkled in the hideouts.
