Once upon a time, a farmer's beloved donkey took a mighty fall into a deep, dark well. The poor creature cried out in agony for hours, as the farmer frantically searched for a way to rescue him.
After exhausting every possible solution, the farmer sadly concluded that the donkey was too old and the well too dry to warrant a rescue. Instead, he decided to bury the donkey alive, hoping to finally cover the well and move on with his life.
Word of the farmer's cruel decision spread like wildfire, and soon his entire village came to witness the shocking scene. Armed with shovels, they began to throw piles of dirt into the well, burying the donkey deeper and deeper.
But the donkey refused to give up. With every shovelful of dirt that rained down on him, he shook it off and stepped on top of it. Astonishingly, the donkey used the very earth that was meant to bury him to slowly climb his way out of the well, one step at a time.
As the crowd watched in amazement, the donkey finally emerged from the well, alive and well. And with his triumphant exit, he left behind a powerful lesson for all who witnessed his incredible feat.
For in life, we too will face times when we find ourselves trapped in a deep, dark hole. We may feel buried alive by the weight of our problems, struggling to find a way out. But if we can learn to shake off the dirt and use it as a stepping stone to climb higher, we too can emerge from the darkness, victorious.
So let us remember the wise words of the unknown author: Free your heart from hate, free your mind of distractions, simplify your life, give more and expect less, love more, and shake off the dirt. For in this life, we are not meant to be the problem, but the solution.
