Snail farming can be a profitable venture in Ugenya, especially with the shift towards working from home, a trend accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Cash crop farming in the region has been constrained by complex population systems and a poor political setup, limiting large-scale agricultural development. However, snail farming offers a promising alternative that aligns with the aspirations of Gen Z and the upcoming Gen Alpha, who seek innovative, sustainable, and flexible income opportunities. The minimal space requirements and low startup costs make it ideal for young people interested in agribusiness while working remotely. Additionally, with the growing global demand for organic and nutritious food, snail farming provides a sustainable source of protein that caters to health-conscious markets. By combining traditional agricultural practices with modern business strategies, young generations can leverage snail farming to create resilient income streams, promote sustainable living, and reshape the future of agriculture in Ugenya. The Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery, also known as the Green Card Lottery, is a program run by the U.S. Department of State that provides a pathway for individuals from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States to obtain permanent residency (a green card). The program aims to diversify the immigrant population in the U.S. by offering a limited number of visas each year (typically around 50,000) to people from countries with historically low immigration rates.

How It Works

• Each year, a specific registration period is announced during which eligible individuals can submit their applications online for free.
• After the registration period closes, a random computer-generated drawing selects the winners.
• Those selected in the lottery, known as “selectees,” can then apply for an immigrant visa (green card) and, if approved, become lawful permanent residents of the United States.

The program is open to individuals who meet specific eligibility requirements related to their country of birth, education or work experience, and other factors.
