🐛 Don’t Be Too Quick to Kill Every Caterpillar!
Not every caterpillar is a harmful pest that destroys crops.
🌿 Many caterpillars feed only on specific host plants. As they grow, they transform into beautiful butterflies that help pollinate flowers and play an important role in maintaining nature’s ecological balance.
⚠️ Most of these caterpillars are found only in small numbers. However, some species can become serious pests and may severely damage tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and other crops when their populations become too high.
👨🌾 Before spraying pesticides or removing caterpillars, take a moment to observe:
✅ What species of caterpillar is it?
✅ Is it actually feeding on your crop?
✅ Has it reached a level where control is truly necessary?
🌱 Good farming isn’t about killing every insect. It’s about knowing which insects should be protected and which ones need to be managed.
