There are some growing concerns amongst our customers regarding the quality and condition of the fish purchased from us (Seacatch) between the 21st and 25th of May.

We have not sourced any fish from and around the explosion area of the MV X-Press Pearl, a container ship sailing with a Singaporean flag and carrying cosmetics and chemicals including 25 tonnes of nitric acid, which was anchored off Colombo.

We assure you that not a single tainted fish nor fish of a lesser quality was delivered or supplied to any of our customers.

We also wish to bring to your attention that once we reopen, on the 29th onwards, we will be sourcing our fish/seafood only from the eastern province- Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara.
