Accountant & Accounts Assistant for Commodities Business

Position: Accountant & Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:
✅ Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
✅ Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, transactions, and general ledgers.
✅ Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
✅ Collaborate closely with the finance team to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
✅ Monitor and maintain compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
✅ Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Requirements:
🔹 Partly Qualified in charted institute / CIMA / degree in Finance Accounting.
🔹 Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the commodities industry.
🔹 Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
🔹 Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
🔹 Knowledge of commodities trading and relevant financial regulations.
🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
