Every great cup of tea begins with a story--
Our Tea bigins with a story of passion heritage,and a special tree that traveled across borders.In 2017,my Grandfather imported a unique small-leaf camellia sinesis variety directly from China to our family Tea estate.He believed that exceptional tea comes from exceptional plants.This rare cultivar,known for its delicate size and high,concentration of flavor compounds, thrives in our region's soil and climate.Grown naturally without chemical.
Those first tender green leaves marked the birth of what would become a lifelong legacy,the heart of our tea journey.
After his passing our Father entrusted us with a part of this cherished estate with deep respect for our roots and passion for authentic craftsmanship we transformed that inheritance into something meaningful. Thus began our hand made Artisanal Tea Factory,proudly operated under Charsl Ceylon Products(PVT)Ltd.
Our Tea estate is nestled in the peaceful Village of Polgaswatta in the Sabaragamuwa Province near the NuwaraEliya District. Surrounded by misty hills,cool winds and untouched nature.This unigue environment gives our teas their distinctive charactor,aroma,and purity.
Continuing our journey we lovingly planted specially selected Tea clones introduced by the Tea Research Institute of SriLanka including TRI 20-23,TRI 20-26,TRI 20-43,TRI 20-47, known for their quality,resilience,and distinctive Ceylon Tea character.
