Do you know, it is love that enables you to bear people’s weaknesses & flaws? True love doesn’t demand perfection nor rush to judgment. It is patient, kind & forgiving, choosing to support & encourage rather than condemn (1 Cor 13:4–7). Moses interceded for Israel despite their repeated rebellion, showing God’s mercy(Ex 32:11–14). Barnabas, “son of encouragement,” stood by Paul when others distrusted him(Act 9:26–27). Abigail prevented David from sinning in anger by wisely intervening (1 Sam 25:23–31). Love sees beyond flaws, focusing on growth & transformation. Arise! Show compassion for others’ weaknesses, reflect God’s mercy, nurture relationships & become an instrument of healing. Selah!

Do you know, even when you do your very best to do good, there will always be those who won’t value your efforts & may attack, criticise, speak ill of you or even plan to kill you? God sent Moses to free Israel, yet they grumbled & longed for Egypt(Ex 16:2–3). David served Saul with loyalty, yet Saul still sought his life(1 Sam 18:10–12). Jesus went about doing good: bringing freedom, light & salvation (Act 10:38;Lk 4:18–19;Jn 6:38), yet many took offense, tried to stone Him & was killed (Jn 10:31–33; 19:16). Being ignored—or opposed—isn't failure; it's a sign that you walk a path familiar to those God used mightly. So, keep doing good for your reward comes from God & not from people. Selah!

Stock Market Naysayers!

My experience over the years for now 23 years has shown that investment in the stock market is usually faced by naysayers that have been there for a long long time!

My wife and I were faced with a dilemma to easily access an Indefund Government funded facility to buy Standard Bank IPO shares. People told us it’s a scam and we were going to lose money. We ended up giving up and did not participate in buying Standard Bank Shares. We lost on a golden opportunity there. We later enjoyed the facility during NBS and NITL IPO.

When NBM shares had hit K10 people said it’s a bubble and we should be cautious as we may lose money and they continued this when it had hit K50. But you and me know that the price is now K6,200.

When Airtel was listing naysayers said its over priced and is full of debt to the extent that most people didnt participate. Those that then bought 10m shares at K126.9m in 2019 have values at K1.29 billion.

When FDH was going through turbulent times the naysayers said this bank wont go far with its share price stuck at K14 some of us bought a good chunk and those that bought 10m shares for K140m have values above K3.5bn and that was in 2020.

The naysayers said NBS is overpriced at K22 in 2021 and its performance was cosmetic and wont go far. Those that bought 10m NBS shares then at K220m then have values now at K7bn with profitability forecasting to challenge for position two and then it was at number 6 or there about in the banking sector!

The question I have to you all naysayers is whats your interest in denying investors an opportunity to create wealth for their families. If you havent invested and personally benefited from the Stock Market the best is to keep quiet but wanted to use the word to shut up and do your thing! Dont deny people an opportunity to create wealth and you later say inhindsight we should have done this-zamkutu zeni zeni!

As I always say investing in shares is a long term journey a marathon and not a sprint! You naysayers should stop advising people on how to invest on the stock market with a betting default mindset. These are thriving businesses that are push sustainable profitability and growth!

The Stock market has over the longest time consistently beat inflation and has created wealth to those that have invested and taken a risk!

People have literally left money on the table because of either misguided or jealousy naysayers!

Before investing engage asset managers or brokers for guidance. Ask them the right questions in terms of trend of performance of an institution and general outlook in the environment.

By the way I’m not a certified or registered financial advisor but have made money on the stock market in the last 20 years so this is my personal experience with ma naysayers wa!
