📍 Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
🕒 Job Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about data, trends, and turning insights into smart business decisions? We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supermarket Data Analyst to join our growing team.
This role will support business growth through sales analysis, inventory insights, customer behaviour tracking, and operational performance reporting.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse daily, weekly & monthly sales data
• Monitor inventory movement and stock levels
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management
• Track product performance and pricing trends
• Support forecasting and demand planning
• Identify customer shopping patterns
• Develop KPIs for operational efficiency
• Present actionable insights to management
🎓 Requirements:
• Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, IT, or related field
• Retail/supermarket analytics experience is an advantage
• Strong skills in:
✔ Microsoft Office
✔ Power BI / Tableau
✔ SQL
• Excellent analytical, reporting & problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
⭐ Preferred:
• Experience with POS systems
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Understanding of retail KPIs and customer analytics
