Job Scope
The HR Officer will support the HR department in implementing policies, managing employee relations, and handling day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of HR generalist experience who is eager to grow their career in human resources within the oil and gas industry.
Reports To:
HR Manager
Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies.
Assist in performance management and appraisal processes.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Coordinate training and development programs.
Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail and organizational ability.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of HR processes and Nigerian labor laws.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR officer role.
Familiarity with HR best practices and compliance requirements.
