It somehow feels like a tightrope walk.

Here’s what experience teaches you:

✨ It stops feeling awkward when the relationship is genuine.
People naturally talk about what helped them. Your job is just to make the sharing easier.

✨ You’re not begging — you’re expanding impact.
If you’ve served someone well, you’re offering someone else the chance to benefit too.

✨ Ask right after delivering value.
When the gratitude is fresh, the “Yes” flows effortlessly.

✨ Keep it simple.
No pressure. No big speech.
Just: “If anyone comes to mind, feel free to send them my way.”

✨ And always honour those who refer you.
They’re lending you their reputation. Treat that kindness like gold.

At the end of the day…
Referrals aren’t awkward.
They’re a sign that what you do matters — and people trust you enough to share it.
