Dear Gen Zs'
Life didnt begin at 1995
There was World War in 1914
Before the Advent of Social Media, people have lived....

Innovation must not erode ethics;
Innovation is doing something from a fresh eye,
not destroying standards (ethics).

The past is full of heroes from whom we can learn.

Some men walked and crawled, so we can run
Now that we can run
it will enable younger generations to fly.
We must not despise our fore-runners
no matter how successful we may think we have become..

Is it true that a Nigerian youngster said he is greater than Fela?
I sincerely hope he was misquoted.

Even if he were to live ten lifetimes, his art and his life could not measure up to Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Is it in art?
Is it in music?
Is it in activism, courage, or originality?

Fela was not just a musician; he was a movement, a conscience, a revolution in human form. His music gave birth to Afrobeat, a genre now studied in universities across the world, sampled by global superstars, and performed on the world’s greatest stages. From Lagos to London, New York to Berlin, Fela’s sound reshaped global music and African identity.

Fela stood alone—fearless in the face of military dictatorships, unapologetic in his resistance to oppression. He used his music as a weapon against injustice, corruption, colonial mentality, and state violence. For this, he was arrested over 200 times, brutalized, imprisoned, tortured, exiled, and silenced—yet never broken.

His mother was murdered by the state. His house, the Kalakuta Republic, was burned to the ground. His property was seized. He was flogged, beaten, and jailed from Alagbon to Panti, hounded by police and soldiers alike. Yet, after every assault, Fela returned with sharper lyrics, deeper rhythms, and more defiant truth.

For any young person—musician or not—to compare himself to Fela, he must first walk the corridors of Nigerian jailhouses: Lagos, Maiduguri, Benin. He must endure police cells and military tribunals. He must lose everything, go into exile, and still return with his creative spirit intact.

Fela was a multi-instrumentalist, a composer, bandleader, philosopher, and cultural theorist. He could play virtually every instrument in his band, wrote complex compositions lasting 15 to 30 minutes, and fused jazz, highlife, funk, Yoruba rhythms, and political poetry into something entirely original—something timeless.

Globally, Fela is honored as:
• One of the most influential musicians of the 20th century

Congratulations 🎊 Senegal 🇸🇳 for winning the African cup of nation Championship.

THIS IS WHY SENEGAL WON 🏆.

People may not believe this; but I believe this man Sadio Mane was the reason they won. The consequences of his good works. When you do things like this , you command unquestionable grace from the elements of the Earth to work in your favor in difficult times. He provided:

Healthcare:
Built a modern hospital in Bambali, providing medical services locally so residents don’t have to travel long distances for care. This also includes maternity care and serves surrounding villages.

🏫 Education:
Funded the construction of a school in the village.
Donated laptops and free internet (4G) access for students to support learning.
Awarded cash grants to top-performing students to encourage academic excellence.

🏡 Infrastructure:
Built a petrol station — helping local transport and small business.

Funded a post office — improving communication and services in the area.

Installed 4G mobile internet service across the village.

Built/upgraded a stadium with proper pitch and seating for sports and community events.
💶 Direct Financial Support
Monthly stipend (~€70) to each family in his village — roughly equal to a month’s minimum wage in Senegal — giving real, ongoing support to households.
👕 Community Support & Extras
Donated sports gear (like shirts, clothes, shoes) for children and villagers.
Provided laptops and supplies to school children.

Other Philanthropic Work
Donated to national COVID-19 relief efforts in Senegal.

Do good works and let the Earth work for you .

🚨 LAST MINUTE ADVICE TO THE SUPER EAGLES🚨

IF THEY WANT TO WIN MOROCCO ON WEDNESDAY 14/01/2025.

If Nigeria must win… then it has to be intentional.
No vibes football. No emotional rush.

A FEW THINGS, AS REVEALED.

First, Nigeria must score first.
This is huge. Morocco with the crowd behind them becomes a different animal once they’re leading. But if Nigeria scores early, even just one goal, you’ll feel the stadium quiet a bit. Pressure shifts. Doubt creeps in. That’s when Morocco becomes human.

Second, don’t fight the crowd. Ignore it.
Easier said than done, I know. But Nigerian players sometimes play the occasion instead of the game.
Too many rushed passes, unnecessary fouls. Calm kills noise. Keep the ball moving, short passes, slow the tempo when needed. Silence is louder than chants.

Third, Osimhen must be used wisely, not just aggressively. Everyone expects him to run, press, bully defenders. That’s fine. But the key is timing. Morocco’s defenders are disciplined. If Osimhen drags them out of shape, creates space, holds play up just a little… runners from midfield will feast. One smart layoff can be more deadly than three wild sprints.

Fourth, midfield discipline. This one decides the match.
Nigeria cannot allow end-to-end chaos. Morocco loves structure. Nigeria should break rhythm, then accelerate suddenly. Win second balls. No ball-watching.
One lapse in midfield and you’re chasing shadows.

Fifth, set pieces. Take them seriously.
Corners. Free kicks. No casual marking. One silly lapse and the whole game plan collapses. On the other side, Nigeria should be ruthless with dead balls. Even if it doesn’t score, it keeps Morocco cautious.

And lastly… belief without panic.
Nigeria plays best when they trust themselves but don’t rush destiny. There’s a difference between confidence and anxiety. If the game stretches to the second half level, Nigeria should actually feel encouraged.
Morocco will feel the weight more.

Abdul Samad Rabiu is edging closer to one of the rarest milestones in Nigerian wealth history: a $10 billion net worth.

For nearly a decade, only two Nigerians have crossed that line, Aliko Dangote, who built Africa’s largest cement empire, and Mike Adenuga, who briefly joined the club in 2016. Now, Rabiu is closing the gap.

The BUA Group founder’s fortune has surged on the back of a powerful rally on the Nigerian Exchange, where gains in BUA Cement and BUA Foods have sharply lifted the value of his holdings.

Forbes currently estimates Rabiu’s net worth at $9.8 billion, just about $200 million short of the threshold. Strong earnings growth at both companies, combined with rising share prices, has narrowed that gap faster than at any point in recent years.

If he crosses the line, Rabiu would become the third Nigerian ever to reach $10 billion, ending years of exclusivity and reshaping the country’s billionaire rankings.

11/01/2026

Nigerian billionaire Abdulsamad Rabiu has pledged significant cash rewards to the Super Eagles following their victory over Algeria, adding fresh momentum to Nigeria’s knockout-stage run.

In a public message shared as celebrations spread across the country, Rabiu promised $500,000 if the team wins its semifinal match, with an additional $50,000 for every goal scored.

The incentives rise even higher if Nigeria reaches the final, with Rabiu committing $1 million for lifting the trophy, plus $100,000 per goal in the championship match.

Altogether, the base pledges amount to $1.5 million, excluding goal-related bonuses. The announcement quickly sparked reactions online, with fans praising the gesture as a morale booster at a decisive stage of the tournament.

Football remains a powerful national rallying point in Nigeria, and such pledges often blend patriotism with performance rewards. As the Super Eagles head into the semifinals, expectations, and incentives, are clearly rising.
