Gbègiri is that soup with a natural likeness and an expensive personality among other foods, especially soups.
It is a typical Nigerian soup made from soaked, peeled and mashed beans. It has a mild and creamy taste yellow in colour because of the palm oil added.
It is best eaten with Abula and tuwo but you can still take it with another swallow. It is commonly served in canteens, buka huts and restaurants.
In the southwest especially, it's well known and has a unique taste that makes people crave more. Except for the stress involved before serving, many southwest states such as the Oyo, Lagos, Kwara and others can not compromise their uniqueness for it.
Just because of its uniqueness, it is served differently and especially for individuals that can pay the price(talking from experience).
