MENSTRUAL CRAMPS
Normal Cause
Think of your womb (uterus) as a muscle. Every month during your period, that muscle has to squeeze tight to push out the lining it doesn't need. That squeezing cuts off oxygen to the muscle for a few seconds, which is what causes the pain.
OTHER CAUSES
Chemical Cause
Your body produces "squeeze" chemicals (Prostaglandins) during menstruation.
Some people's bodies make too many of these chemicals. If you have too many, the uterus squeezes too hard and too fast, causing severe pain.
Medical Cause
Sometimes, the pain isn't just from the squeezing. It might be caused by something else going on inside.
💥Endometriosis
This is when the tissue that normally grows inside the womb decides to grow outside of it (like on the ovaries or bowel). When you get your period, this tissue bleeds too, but it has nowhere to go, causing pain.
💥Fibroids
These are hard, non-cancerous lumps or growths on the wall of the uterus. They can act like a rock in your shoe—making everything feel tighter and more painful when the uterus tries to squeeze.
💥Adenomyosis
This is when the lining of the uterus starts growing into the muscle wall of the uterus, making the muscle thick, tender, and painful.
JCMS has the ability to give you relief from severe pains associated with your period.
JCMS has the ability to shrink growths like fibroid or cysts in your system, thereby freeing you from these pains.
