As a Manusian, I know what it's like to be the subject of criticism because of our dance. This picture was taken from a video where the camera man then took a screenshot of the video. Such instances where laplap sa lus na susu sa hangamap nating happens to the best of us. Lil sis quickly lifted her laplap to cover herself when this happened. Which took about 2 or less seconds to do so. For the camera man to slow down the video and take a screenshot astounds me. The level of perversion that you all have to further share and criticize a high school student is worthy to be criminalized. Harim ah lucky m Lae yah. Sapos mipla stap lo Manus ba mipla kalap susu nating na mbwekul blo you ba faul lo solap. Fu***ng long2 Neanderthal brain. Urfav Bern if you were actually the dance partner, you wouldn't have shared the picture in the first place.

Maru announces PNGX bonds open

The Minister for International Trade and Investment, Richard Maru, has announced that the Papua New Guinea’s capital stock exchange market is ready for companies to issues bonds in the country.

This project was funded by the Australian Government, Marape-Rosso Government, the International Financial Corporation, the Asian Development Bank and other stakeholders.

“It has taken over five years (since 2017) to prepare PNGX and the Securities Commission of Papua New Guinea for the issuance of the local bonds,” Minister Maru said.

He said a bond is simply described as a loan given to companies by investors who promised to pay the money back with interest.

Maru said companies who have a net assert of K10 million and those who are rated by independent credit rating agencies will be considered by PNGX to issue bonds.

The target of the Marape-Rose government is to increase the size of PNG’s capital market in terms of equities from the current capitalization of K135 billion to over K500 billion.

“The target will be reached if more companies are listed on PNGX,” he said.

Maru said in PNG’s stock market most companies buy shares or get loan from bank to raise their investments. However, this new system will now ease this burden for companies to issue bonds instead of buying shares or getting loans from bank.

My Family, friends, supporters and wider Southern Highlands people.

Our election petition against Governor Powi was dismissed at competency today (7/7/23) by Judge Nicholas Miviri because we paid the K5000.00 security deposit into the National Court Registry Trust Account 8 days before the petition was filed.

I was advised by my Lawyer back then, Mr Greg Shepard that it was okay to pay early and give him the deposit receipt. He filled the petition together with the deposit receipt but turns out that’s not acceptable.

Judge Miviri’s decision to dismiss our petition before trial proper will be challenged in the Supreme Court.

I have now formally instructed our lawyers to file a Supreme Court review application within the next 14days.

I am confident we will prevail at the Supreme Court.

Powi was never elected by the people but appointed by EC Simon Sinai which needs to be proven by the court.

In the mean time, I am appealing to all my supporters to remain calm and maintain peace back home.

I assure you all that we will fight this till we deliver justice for our people.
