Despite the earlier disruption caused by alleged thugs who arrived in a vehicle linked to Alaafin Owoade, the ceremony continued successfully. Three of those involved were later apprehended and are now in the custody of the Area Commander.

The program proceeded peacefully, and the Bale was officially installed.

More importantly, Kabiesi Onidode was one of the monarchs (Alahoro) installed alongside Alago Oja as king, and their authority stands independently — not under Alaafin Owoade Iku Baba Yeye, Akanni, ọkọ Ayaba Abiwunmi.

Why behaving unrvly 👉🏿 In reference to my post yesterday about the alleged thugs (now reportedly in police custody) who disrupted the installation/elevation of a chief to Bale — the sensible thing to do is verify the facts and correct the narrative if necessary, especially if it helps clear his (the Alaafin’s) name. What if some people (thugs) who do not mean well for him are behind this? ...I have more facts oo. They went there with 2 of alaafin's vehicles..

Ceasefire does not mean anyone is afraid of anybody. It simply means choosing peace to reign. It does -not - mean factual incidents will not be reported.

If anyone has any factual incident concerning the Ooni of Ife, bring it forward. Truth should never be silenced. If something questionable happens — may Olórun forbid — it should be addressed, either to clear his name or expose whoever is trying to destabilize his kingship.

And to those boasting about the continuation of this supremacy tension, when exactly have you ever stopped? Since all this started, what has it achieved? After AI and Epe, what next?
