Why not spicing your husband's taste bud up with this simple to make mouth meal for breakfast tomorrow morning??
Stir fry Spaghetti with Shredded chicken
Ingredients
Spaghetti (medium size)
Chicken breast or Chicken thigh 1pcs
Suya spice. ½ teaspoonful
Paprika ½ teaspoonful
Curry powder. ½ teaspoonful
Stock cube(chicken flavor). 4 cubes
Onions. 1 bulb
Carrots. 2spoonful
Green pepper 1spoonful
Green beans. ½ spoonful
salt to taste
Groundnut oil. 2spoonful
Dry pepper. ½spoonful
Garlic
Butter 1teasponful
Method of Preparation
First start with your chicken of any type, shred into pieces and pour into a small pot,add your paprika, 2stock cubes,⅓cut of onions, chopped garlic, sprinkle some amount of water per time,heat marinate and allow to steam for 20mins,
While the protein is steaming, dice your vegetables,pour in a microwave glass plate or your small pot if you don't have a microwave,add 1stock cube for taste and steam under medium heat for 5 mins on your burner, and 5mins in microwave, check the softness of the green beans and green pepper, depending on your Choice of crunchiness..
Place an empty pot on the burner and pour in 3cups of water,add 1teaspoonful of groundnut oil to it with a pinch of salt and bring to boil, then add your spaghetti, and allow to boil for 25mins.
NB: all these are to be done simultaneously
Because the spaghetti needs not to be cold so as not to be sticky by the time you about to mix or start stir frying,
On your burner place your dry nonstick pan,on low heat,,pour in your oil, and allow to heat up,add your butter, add your onions, garlic,stir,add the properly steamed chicken with no drop of water, keep stirring for another 5minutes,add your vegetables,then pour in your cooked spaghetti, add the remaining stock cube, stir properly and allow to steam with no lid on, on medium heat, add salt to taste, stir and allow to steam for another 15mins under low heat, then our sumptuous meal is ready...
NB : the only water needed for this meal is only the ones for the boiling of the spaghetti, and chicken,.
The recipe is just for one portion of food,so if you are cooking a full pack of spaghetti,then the ingredients has to be multiplied to suit the taste of the meal.
