It was exactly 1:30 AM. The street was dead silent except for the low hum of a security patrol vehicle. Okon, a man known for his dual role as a high-ranking security officer and a no-nonsense landlord, pulled up to one of his properties. His headlights hit the gate—it was wide open.
Okon didn’t just knock; he roared. His voice tore through the silence, calling for Andreas, the caretaker. A startled Andreas rushed out of his room, heart pounding, only to be met with a barrage of queries about the open gate and the security of the "Student Villa."
The Hidden Motive
After the dressing down, Okon pointed toward the shadows at the back of the compound.
> "Go to the backyard. There is an old pump parked there. Carry it and put it in my patrol car, now!"

As Andreas hurried to haul the heavy iron pump, Okon leaned against his car. "That female student... the one in the end room... she is in?" Andreas, focused on the labor, confirmed she was. "Call her for me," Okon commanded.
