GREENISH P**P, A SIGN OF HEAT STRESS

Did you know that greenish p**p in broilers can be a critical indicator of heat stress? When your birds are experiencing heat, their droppings can turn greenish, serving as a vital visual cue for poultry farmers.

Why does heat stress cause greenish p**p?

1. Increased water loss: Heat-stressed birds pant and lose more water through respiratation, leading to dehydration.

2. Altered gut pH: Heat stress disrupts the balance of gut bacteria, causing an increase in pH levels.

3. Reduced nutrient absorption: Heat stress impairs the bird's ability to absorb nutrients, resulting in changes to f***l composition.

HERE ARE OTHER SIGNS OF HEAT STRESS IN BROILERS

1. Panting
2. Increased water consumption
3. Reduced feed intake
4. Wet litter
5. Increased mortality

What can you do to mitigate heat stress?

1. Provide adequate ventilation
2. Ensure sufficient shade
3. Monitor temperature and humidity
4. Adjust feeding schedules (e.g., nighttime feeding)
5. Ensure access to fresh water

6.But you can add natural probiotics to their water morning and evening for three days.

Pawpaw leaf extract, ginger and garlic. Blend together and add 20ml to a litre of water.

Take action at the first sign of greenish p**p!

Early detection and intervention can significantly reduce the impact of heat stress on your broiler flock.

Stay vigilant, and keep your birds cool and healthy.

This post is for those who want to start poultry farming specifically on broiler chickens.

1️⃣You must know the number of broiler chicks you want to start with that you will manage to take care of items of feeding them .
As for me especially you are beginner who didn't go for a training like me it's better to start small so you can learn and gain knowledge on your first batch .you can start even with 25,50,100 chicks.

2️⃣when you know the number of chicks you want to start with buy the following.
For example 50 chicks.
✅4bags of feed( 50kgs )
✅drinkers that your chicks can drink water the whole day even if are not around.
✅Feeders for feed 3 it's fine
✅stress pack(vitamin)to put in their water especially on the arrival day to 5day to remove transportation stress. also you when you have clean their coops you will be moving them..also when you see your chicks have loose appetite.
✅heat lights .if you want heat bulb lights for 50 chicks buy 2, especially chicks are below 2weeks they need warm brooder.
✅2bags of shavings to change if the floor is wet to avoid infections or diseases.
✅It's up to you to use vaccines and antibiotics.because on online I see a lot of people really happy if they have told by someone that I don't use vaccines but my poultry is doing well😀😃.but remember vaccines are important.
To those who want these are the days for vaccines.7 to 14 newcastle.14 to 21 Gumboro .21 to 28 repeat Newcastle.
Antibiotics when you notice some signs of other things like coughing or just give them once per week.
You can use these organic aloe Vera, ginger garlic, cynne pepper even once or twice a week.
‼️On vaccines at vet the staffs will tell you how to use it don't worry.

That's all and you are ready to go .
When you start normally visit your chicks regularly to check how are they doing.

However it's not that difficult to rear broiler chickens .start and see it for yourself. You can't learn without trying.

😳🐾 The most brutal birth in the animal kingdom belongs to the spotted hyena!

Few stories in nature are as jaw-dropping as this one. Unlike most animals, female hyenas are bigger, stronger, and more dominant than males. But their unique biology comes with a shocking twist.

👉 Instead of a traditional birth canal, females give birth through a “pseudop***s” — an elongated organ that looks like a p***s but is actually an enlarged cl****is. And yes… that’s the only passage newborns must come through.

The result? A life-threatening challenge for both mother and cubs. The passage is so narrow that nearly 60% of firstborn cubs don’t survive, often dying from suffocation or getting trapped. Mothers themselves risk severe internal tears during delivery. 💔

Why does this happen? It all goes back to extremely high testosterone levels in female hyenas. This hormone gives them dominance, strength, and aggression — cementing their role as rulers in their matriarchal society — but it also makes reproduction incredibly dangerous.

Nature, once again, shows us a side that is fierce, unforgiving, and awe-inspiring. 🌍✨
