Amsterdam Tea Festival

Amsterdam Tea Festival The first Tea Festival in Amsterdam!

01/02/2026

Dear friends,

Thank you so much to all our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, visitors, workshop hosts, performers, and musicians who took part in the festival. It was an incredible experience and a huge effort for all of us involved. We are deeply grateful for your support, your help, and the many stories you shared with us.

We truly hope you enjoyed the festival overall. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we will absolutely use it to make the event even better next year.

A small practical note: if something didn’t go as expected—for example, if we ran out of gift bags, a souvenir was missing, or any other issue occurred—please write to us by email. We will review and process all messages within one week. Due to the large number of participants and the amount of work involved, it may take a little time, but we promise that everything will be handled properly.

This was our first experience on this scale, and we will take the best lessons from it moving forward.
Thank you once again, and we hope to see you again very soon.

With gratitude,
The Festival Team

Proud to welcome Harrogate Spring Water as a sponsor of Amsterdam Tea Festival 2026 💧

Discovered in 1571 and first bottled in 1740, Harrogate is known for its clean neutrality, gentle sparkle, and naturally balanced minerality — a crisp, taint-free profile that lets flavour (and tea) stay the focus. Served in their iconic diamond bottle, it’s the kind of hydration that feels refined, simple, and uncompromising.

And for Tea Rave nights: you want clarity, not excess. Still or lightly sparkling, Harrogate keeps the palate fresh and the energy steady — made for long conversations, big movement, and alcohol-free nights that feel good from start to finish.

Meet TENMO
fr tea accessories specialists bringing the beauty of handcrafted Chinese ceramics to the EU tea community. 🍵🏺

Since 2022, TENMO has focused on one clear idea: a tea moment is not only about what’s in the cup — it’s also about what you hold, how you pour, and the quiet pleasure of a well-made set. Their collection is built around affordable handmade tea sets and accessories, designed to make daily tea rituals feel more intentional without feeling untouchable.

At Amsterdam Tea Festival 2026, TENMO will showcase a curated selection of tea accessories — with special attention to ceramics that carry a sense of tradition and craft. Think: pieces that feel grounded, tactile, and unique — shaped by hand, and often finished with natural, unpredictable details that make every set slightly different (their own “work of nature” touch).

If you love tea ware, textures, and that moment when a cup just feels right in your hands — you’ll want to stop by.

Meet Herbal Hero

a brand that turns herbal tea into something you see, smell, taste, and actually want to come back to. 🌿💙

Founded by Sarah Nabibaks, Herbal Hero started from a simple idea: herbal blends can be healthy and functional, but they can also be fun, colourful, and visually exciting — the kind of tea that instantly invites curiosity, even before the first sip.

Their signature focus is butterfly pea: a botanical known for its naturally deep blue colour and its ability to transform the entire tea moment into something playful and sensory. But it’s not only about the look — Herbal Hero builds blends that feel aromatic, vibrant, and balanced, rooted in natural ingredients and inspired by modern wellness rituals.

What to expect at Amsterdam Tea Festival 2026:
✨ Interactive tastings where you can explore flavour + colour side by side
💙 A special spotlight on butterfly pea blends and botanical infusions
🌱 A welcoming way to reconnect with herbs — through taste, colour, and mindful little pauses
🍵 Tea that feels like an experience… not “just a drink”

🇯🇵 Food Exhibitor Hakata Sugaya

There’s something quietly special about the Japanese way of taking a tea break — not rushed, not loud, just a moment of comfort where tea and food belong together. Hakata Sugaya brings exactly that feeling to Amsterdam Tea Festival: the warmth of simple, handmade Japanese bites, prepared with care and a deep sense of hospitality — omotenashi.

At their table you’ll find handmade onigiri and traditional Japanese sweets, created to complement tea and to recreate that familiar pause you’d take in Japan: something nourishing, something sweet, something that makes you slow down for a second and just enjoy.

If you love tea pairings, subtle flavours, and food that feels thoughtful (not heavy), this is one you’ll want to find.

Meet Pari Moments
chai is all about bringing back the real feeling of chai — not just “a spiced tea”, but the ritual behind it: comfort, care, and that emotional warmth you associate with home.

What makes their approach special is the intention. These are hand-crafted Indian chai blends designed to be served as a small luxury ritual — slow, aromatic, grounding. You’ll taste layers as you sip: the depth of black tea, the gentle heat of spices, and that soft sweetness that lingers in the background (without overpowering everything). It’s the kind of cup that asks you to pause for a second, breathe, and come back to yourself.

At Amsterdam Tea Festival 2026, Pari Moments will be serving their chai on-site for tasting — and you’ll also be able to purchase the blends to take home and recreate that same moment in your own kitchen. Their mission is simple and strong: to re-introduce authentic Indian chai in a way that feels meaningful — a moment of warmth, connection, and a break from the noise.

Meet Mei’s Kitchen — Taiwanese vegetarian comfort food, made the way it’s meant to feel: warm, simple, and full of care.

Run by a Taiwanese mom living in the Netherlands, Mei’s Kitchen brings the flavours she grew up with to the table — the kind of dishes that don’t try to impress, they just hit the right place. Think small bites and easy, tasty meals that feel like home… like eating at your grandma’s house in Taiwan.

At Amsterdam Tea Festival you’ll find Taiwanese vegetarian cuisine and small bites, made to share — because that’s the whole point: good food, for everyone.

Home of Thamani

is coming to Amsterdam Tea Festival with a simple idea: Africa holds a real tea treasure — and it deserves to be tasted with attention.

The founder has been living and working with tea for over a decade, and what kept calling her back was the richness of African teas: their warmth, their structure, their fragrance, and the way they can be both comforting and bold in the cup.

At the festival, you’ll find a range that shows different sides of the continent — single-origin African teas, herbal infusions, and flavoured creations made to be expressive without losing the tea itself. Expect a strong sensory character: aroma first, then depth, then that clean, lingering finish that makes you take a second sip.

What matters to Home of Thamani is also how tea is sourced: high-end, made-in-Africa products, built through direct relationships with producers, with the aim to support local communities in a real, practical way.

Come by their stand, taste slowly, ask questions, and let African tea speak for itself.

Meet Friendly Nature Red Oolong

Friendly Nature Red Oolong brings a very Taiwanese kind of tea moment to Amsterdam — the everyday one. The pause. The refills. The quiet way tea becomes a place to meet.

In Taiwan, sharing tea is often how people slow down and connect. Iris Liao-Attwood built Friendly Nature from that feeling, with a special focus on Red Oolong: a style that sits right between worlds — the deeper, rounder body of black tea with the softer, smoother character of oolong. Balanced, comforting, and seriously easy to keep coming back to.

At Amsterdam Tea Festival you’ll be able to:
• taste and buy Taiwanese Red Oolong
• join their tea workshop to explore Taiwanese tea culture, brewing methods, and flavour profiles

If you’re curious about Taiwan beyond the “high mountain oolong” headlines — and you like tea that’s warm, steady, and quietly complex — come meet Friendly Nature Red Oolong in person.
