✨ Dive into the World of Dali and Gaudi at Fabrique des Lumieres in Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam ✨

Fabrique des Lumieres is an art installation in the industrial setting of Westergasfabriek. Currently, it features the works of Dali and Gaudi. As soon as you step into the vast hall, you're instantly transported into the magical worlds, finding yourself immersed within the paintings themselves.

Imagine being surrounded by projected artwork on all sides, creating a breathtaking sensory experience. You can find a cozy spot on the floor or lean against the walls to fully absorb the art that unfolds before your eyes. The kids were in awe, their eyes wide with wonder, as they witnessed the art come alive around them.

Unlike traditional art museums, here the kids can roam around the hall, exploring the art from different perspectives. It allows them to fully engage with the art and create their own unique experience.

Accompanied by the music, the atmosphere becomes even more enchanting. The blend of visuals and sounds takes you on a journey through the minds of these visionary artists.

The artwork is projected in two loops, each lasting around 10 minutes. You can enjoy as many loops as you like, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the masterpieces of both Dali and Gaudi.

Now, about ticket prices. They are on the pricier side, but the experience is undeniably unique. The ticket prices are:
* Adult: 16 Euro
* Youth (5-17 years): 12 Euro
* Children (under 5 years): Free

It's a great opportunity for artistic children to delve into the world of these incredible artists and ignite their imagination. Have you already visited the exhibition? What was your experience?

Here are some tips to make your visit extra special at Hamleys, one of the world’s most iconic toy stores:

1. Plan ahead - Hamleys is huge, with multiple floors and a vast range of toys to choose from. Check out their website beforehand and decide which areas you want to visit or avoid.

2. Agree a budget - With so many tempting toys on offer, it can be easy to overspend. Agree on a budget before your visit to keep your spending in check.

3. Go early in the morning - Hamleys is a popular attraction, so it can get crowded quickly. Beat the rush and head over early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

4. Set a time limit if required - If you have other plans for the day, set a time limit for your visit. This way, you can make the most of your time at Hamleys without worrying about running late.

5. Ground floor is the busiest - The ground floor is where you'll find some of the most popular toys and the busiest areas. If you prefer a quieter shopping experience, head up to the upper floors.

Don't forget the Hamleys experience: Hamleys is more than just a toy store. It's an experience that your children will remember for years to come. Take some time to enjoy the fun and festive atmosphere, and make some memories with your family.

Traveling to London with kids can be intimidating, but don't worry! Here are some tips to help you plan your trip:
* Don't be scared to take your kids to London. Remember that millions of families and kids live in London and manage to enjoy the city. So can you!
* Choose your hotel strategically. Consider staying near the airport if you want to avoid traveling with luggage across the city. Or stay in the city center to have easy access to your room for breaks during the day.
* Pack your kids' favorite snacks, drinks and water. Familiar snacks will provide comfort in unfamiliar situations.
* Use public transport during off-peak hours to avoid crowds. Kids travel for free in London until age 11.
* Plan your itinerary around kid-friendly activities and places.
* Bring entertainment such as books, toys, and multimedia to keep your kids occupied during downtime.
* Spend time in iconic London parks. They're free, and your kids can play while you soak in the city's atmosphere.
* Buy snacks at the supermarket and have a picnic in the park.
* Visit free museums like the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Tate Modern with interactive exhibits.
* Check out iconic stores like Hamleys, the Lego store, and M&M's World (but set rules and agree on a budget beforehand!)
* Use toilets in hotels in case of an urgent need.
* Teach your kids about safety requirements in London and keep them close at all times. Consider giving them a wristband with your phone number in case they get lost.
* Buy some children's books about London which will help the kids to connect with the city through the story. Reading together in your hotel room can help them better associate with the city, its sights and remember the names.
* Lastly, remember to have fun and be flexible.
