A very serious butcher presenting a very serious piece of meat... for about three seconds 👀

There is always plenty of work to be done at Biologisch Vleesch Atelier, but Romano never lets a busy day get in the way of a good laugh. One minute he is carefully handling the finest organic meat, the next he is using it to attack the camera 😂

Craftsmanship is serious business. Romano, fortunately, is not always.

Grandma called. She's furious we're giving away her meatballs for free today.
Every 4th Bio Oma's Gehaktbal is on us. Just show up hungry and let the counter do the math.

Still made fresh by us, still 100% her recipe, still no idea how she got it tasting this good. We've asked. She won't tell us.

Saturday only. Come get your free meatball before we eat them all ourselves 😏

Can you taste the difference when an animal has been raised properly?

Romano believes you can. Good meat does not begin in the atelier or at the butcher’s block. It begins here, with cattle given the space and care they deserve. Knowing exactly where our meat comes from matters to us, because real quality starts long before it reaches your plate.

Not all chickens are created equal 👀

Romano’s organic whole chicken is given the time to grow, resulting in firmer meat and plenty of flavour. Roast it whole in the oven, prepare it on the BBQ or use it as the perfect base for a rich homemade broth.

Every sausage in our shop is made right here by Romano. Carefully prepared, perfectly seasoned and twisted with the craftsmanship you would expect from a real butcher.
