हजुरहरुलाई कातिको मन पछ त साथी निगुरोकि सब्जि..????

"कुटुकि च्याउ" भन्नाले Scleroderma प्रजातिको जंगली च्याउलाई जनाउँछ। यसलाई Kudaki Chyau, Kutaki Chyau, वा Paduke Chyau पनि भनिन्छ।
यो च्याउको वैज्ञानिक नाम Scleroderma bovista वा Scleroderma texense हो, र यसलाई स्थानीय नेपाली भाषामा "कुडाकी च्याउ", "कुटाकी च्याउ", "पाडुके च्याउ", साथै "भुन्ड्की", "डल्ले", "फुटुकी" पनि भनिन्छ।
यसको फलफूलको आकार १–२ से.मि. सम्मको हुन्छ, सेतो वा गोलाकार, जमिनमुनि वा माथि उम्रन्छ। बाहिरी छाला कहिले काहीं खैरो दागहरूसहित हुन्छ।
मुख्य विशेषताहरू:
प्रकार: जंगली च्याउ (Puffball प्रकार)
आकार: सानो गोल आलु जस्तो
रंग: सेतो, पाकेपछि कालो हुँदै जान्छ
बासस्थान: जंगल, पहाड, माटोमाथि उम्रन्छ
खाने समय: युवा अवस्थामा भित्री भाग सेतो हुँदा खान मिल्छ, बुढो भएपछि भित्र कालो पाउडर भरिन्छ र खान मिल्दैन।
थारू समुदायमा:
"फुटकी", "भुटकी" वा "कुटकी" भनी चिनिने यस्तो च्याउ जंगलमा आगो लागेको राखको थुप्रोमा उम्रने गर्छ — यो थारू समुदायमा विशेष परिचित छ।
सारांशमा, यो एउटा जंगली पाउडर च्याउ हो जसलाई कच्चा अवस्थामा मात्र खान मिल्छ र नेपालको विभिन्न समुदायमा परम्परागत रूपमा खाइँदै आएको छ। 😊

बगाले च्याउ को वैज्ञानिक नाम Schizophyllum commune हो। यसलाई नेपालमा विभिन्न नामले चिनिन्छ।

यो च्याउ सानो हुन्छ — १ देखि ५ सेमी चौडाइसम्म। आकार पंखा वा मृगौला जस्तो हुन्छ। सुकेको बेला खैरो-सेतो र ओसिलो बेला खैरो रङको हुन्छ। यो काठमा टाँसिएर बढ्छ — यसको ढाँठ हुँदैन।
🌲 कहाँ पाइन्छ?
यो च्याउ मरेका रूखका हाँगा र काठमा उम्रिन्छ। कहिलेकाहीँ साल (Shorea robusta) को रूखमा पनि पाइन्छ। (ResearchGate) नेपालको पहाडी र तराई दुवै क्षेत्रमा भेटिन्छ।
📅 कहिले पाइन्छ?
मुख्यतः जुलाई देखि अक्टोबर (वर्षा याम) मा पाइन्छ।
