Hi guys, my sincerest apologies about how long it has been since a wharf sale.

I took a long time to heal my injury and didn’t want to rush back. I am happy to announce we are back in action for wharf sales and are now offering fresh line caught fillets as well as whole fish, and will also have fresh mussels whole and shucked and punnets of oysters very soon.

The first wharf sale will be tomorrow at Wainui main wharf from 4-5.30pm, Fresh gurnard fillets available on special for $35 kg, and should have whole gurnard (gutted and gilled) for sale also (will update tomorrow).

Flick me a message if you want me to pre hold some fillets for you.

Hi guys, i hope you are all keeping well in this nasty wind. I was planning on having a few wharf sales for this long weekend but unfortunately lady luck has given me her wrath again and i did myself a mischief 🤦‍♂️Will probably be a few weeks before i can get back out there sorry

Hi guys.
Sorry about the complete lack of posts or updates, i have been extremely busy and letting my knee rest.
It’s the captains birthday this weekend so we won’t be back at the wharf, but i will be back on the water next week and offering our super fresh line caught fish again barring any incidents 🤞😆🤦‍♂️

For those of you who are members of the south island land based page, the rig fishing comp is starting again soon and i am sponsoring the event again this year with a groper charter, so make sure you enter!! I won the comp last year and will be giving it a good nudge this year too, thanks to South Island land based game fishing for organising last years comp and trophy.

Spring has sprung and longer days mean more fishing and evenings to be at the wharf, see you soon 🤙🐟

Hi guys, i towed someone in last night and it has caused damage to my engine. I went to launch and can’t make it to wainui, if you come to duvauchelle ramp i can still sort you fish.

Hi Wainui,
Sorry about the late notice i had an interesting day on the water yesterday.
There will be a wharf sale at the main wharf (at the salmon farm) today, saturday the 26th at 3.30-4.30pm.
Sea perch $8kg gilled and gutted (special)
Blue cod $20kg gilled and gutted (special)
Groper gutted and gilled $20kg (special)

Hi Guys, what a ripper of a day!! It’s been extremely icy this week especially on the road and it would have been very unpleasant at the wharf in the evening, so i decided to leave it until later in the week so we can be at the wharf on the weekend and make it easier for everyone🤙

We will be at both Akaroa and Wainui on Saturday, i will update the species available late tomorrow,

Hi Guys,
Sorry about the lack of fish the last month. After being sick for a few weeks the captain tore an mcl and then some lovely person put water in the underfloor fuel tank of the vessel.
I will be back on the water this week and hopefully the water issue is resolved, i will give an update on this weeks wharf sales tomorrow afternoon and hopefully we will see you this week 🤙

Was an average day at sea so limited supply first in first served!
A few tarakihi $12kg gutted and gilled
Blue cod $20kg gutted and gilled
Sea perch $8kg gutted and gilled
A lonely gurnard $10kg gutted
Groper $20kg gutted
All fish are whole, cash only,
